America's Crime Wave

A crime wave is sweeping through America. While it's at it's worse in our big cities. it is stretching across our country and splashing into the small towns and rural areas. Every day, ordinary citizens must take extra-ordinary risks just to get to work, go to school, or take a trip to the store. People don't dare use an ATM bank machine after dark, take a job in certain parts of town, nor let their children play in the front yard while the drug dealers drive up and down the street in front of the house. People who do an honest day's work stay locked up in their homes at night with the boob tube and we reward the elderly citizens by letting them live the last years of their life in terror of muggings.

You are responsible because you've given up the most valuable right you were born with, the right to defend yourselves against anyone who would use force to take what you own or to end your life.. This happens because we bought the pack of lies of politicians, soft headed liberals, and even your teachers, priest and ministers that have promised you that if you would pay your taxes, obey the law, and disarm yourself, then the Government would protect you from criminals. We have so much crime in America because every criminal knows you won't defend yourself nor your community.

If a criminal hurts you, they will try and catch him and if proven the one that commited the crime, then they will put him in jail, but the police can only do so much.. The crimes have moved from the streets into our homes, home burglary has risen in the past couple years and has made us to fear for our own safty.

One way to solve crime in America is for citizens like us, to make it extremely dangerous for anyone to commit a crime. We won't stop crime in the streets until every criminal has a good reason to believe that he is likely to die at the hands of his next victim as his victims is of dying at his hands. You have to organize for self defense with your neighbors, and you have to take your organization to the streets and drive the criminals off them.

We are not talking about vigilante justice, we are talking about armed citizen self-defense, and armed community defense in which you stop a crime in progress.. Self defense is still legal in America. The only person who will stop that crime before you become victim is you. If you don't stop the crime, even if you are carrying a cell phone and immediarely dial 911, you will be a victim before the first policeman arrives, and the criminal will escape. The cost of freedom is eternal vigilance, and that includes the cost of freedom from crime. Be safe my friends.

Crime wave especially with the youngsters is a terrible thing, people are very vulnerable when just going to the shops.
Thanks for hightlighting this issue and Welcome back.
Thanks also for the visit and comments.

Hi Margaret...

Another thought provoking post. I'm afraid crime was with us since Satan introduced sin to mankind. Cain hated his brother Abel and killed him, and things have gone downhill since then. So until God's Kingdom with Jesus as King comes, which is what we pray for in The Lord's Prayer, or The Our Father Prayer, we will have crime and violence. It's a sad fact we all have to face. But, God has promised better times in the future, better times then we can even begin to imagine.

I think you misunderstood my post about the follower thingy. Just because I have removed it, doesn't mean I will not be able to visit all my blogging buddies. The follower thingy has nothing to do with who I can visit. Sorry, if you misunderstood. I hope that made sense.

Great post... I agree that we need to stand up together against crime. We cannot let things happen and turn a blind eye. If we see something happening to someone, we need to lend a hand, even as you say, to call 911 or even just to scream and scare away the "bad guy."
Unfortunately in my area, the crime with the highest rate of rise is domestic crime. As a woman who has overcome such a abuse, we all need to keep an eye out for the signs of this horrible crime in our neighbors, friends and coworkers.
Thanks for a great post Margarent!

Hi Margaret, Glad to see you back. I always enjoy your informative posts. You are so right about the crime in our country. I intend to do everything I can to protect myself and others if I see someone in danger.

Hello Margaret ~~ It is the same in Australia. It started with taking the discipline away from schools and homes. Now the young ones can get away with anything and very low sentences don't help

I had an enjoyable Mother's Day
both boys visited as they are closest and the girls were both in touch. Have a nice end of the week my friend. Take care, Love, Merle.

Hi Margaret,
I agree! In our own neighborhood, we had to get involved at one point to work with the police against some drug dealers. We even took photos and videos - survelliance right from our house! But we were willing to do what it takes to rid our neighborhood of this crime. It worked somewhat - to remove the drug dealing. Though the original people still remain at the house. Unless our justice system receives an entire overall, I don't know that the general situation will improve. In my opinion, there are far too many rights and coddling involved when it comes to the criminals and not enough rights for the victims.

Glad to see you're back. I always enjoy your posts :)

Hi Margaret:)

This is indeed a well thought out post and has excellent suggestions for self defense.

This is an off shoot of democracy, I suppose.Democracy has given freedom to all including criminals. It appears criminals have more freedom and rights in a democratic country.

I have a very rich friend who is quite old and living in a house in the middle of a sprawling estate. His children are in the US and they are not interested in coming back home. He and his wife are very frightened to live in that lovely house because they are worried that they will be attacked by robbers in the night. They are planning to sell their estate and buy an apartment house where they will have security and neighbours.Very sorry state of affairs.

Even in housing colonies in Kochi the residents have formed groups to patrol the colony in the night. The police are helpless against planned robbery and attack.

There is no proper punishment for criminals. Most of the organized criminals have lawyers who will bail them out if they are caught. This is a serious situation demanding immediate attention. We have a right to our property and life and no one has the right to assault us. But the practical situation is that if some one wants to attack us we can do precious little to protect ourselves. Only God can help us.

I appreciate your post which deserves attention and immediate action by all concerned.

Best wishes Margaret:)
Joseph

I agree! The crime is getting so bad. The big city stuff moved to the midwest. It's no longer peaceful. Awesome post!

This post is so true Margaret, and it's too bad this world has come to more and more crime. We live not far from Erie, Pa, and lately there has been a shooting or stabbing every day for weeks now.Very sad!

great post as always. hope you had a good Mother's Day... I spent the weekend mowing Mom's lawn, helping a friend put in Mom's curb post box (new ordinance for her street cause of dogs being loose), and trimming the hedges before bad weather came! Had planned on a Mother's Day post, but too tired!

Then we had a tornado warning on Monday! Thank God for cool cloud cover Monday - saved the west side of Wichita and our airport. The tornado stayed in the clouds and finally dissipated.

And thanks so much for stopping by last month with prayers for sweet Bella. Couldn't bring myself to blog until now. Hard to think about still.

Purrz and hugs,
Katie Kat
