Feeling Blue

I would like to call back those lovely summers of yesterday.
Those carefree days when you seemed to have no cares.
Do our days gone by seem more enjoyable than today.
Those days seem filled with the ones we loved and cherished.
We do hold the years so precious and long for some to come back.
Our tomorrows are out of sight and we hope they are good to us.
The days we long for the most are the ones when we could hold our loved ones.
So we hold true to those we have now, for we no not for how long.
Some of our yesterdays plans and dreams have come true for us.
My wish for all my friends and family is a bright and sunny tomorrow..
Life really is beautiful, even if we don't have everything we want.

This is not a poem, I am feeling a little down right now. My husband has been going through some medical problems and when I sat down today on my computer, these thoughts seemed to cloud my mind, so I thought I would post them. I rarely share my feelings, just a thing I lost when living with my aunt as a teenager. I am okay now that I have shared with you and please if anything is bothering you feel free to post it in my comments, you have and are good friends.

Dear Margaret ~~ I do hope Charles is better by now, and that you are feeling
brighter also. Our lives have changed so much since we were young. I liked your last post too and found a lovely little verse I want for my funeral when that time comes.
I am glad you liked my post and pictures and especially Adam and the Headache.
Take care of yourself, dear friend.
Love, Merle.

Hello Dear Margaret, putting things down and sharing does seem to make things better somehow. We all seem to have our ups and downs and our own way of dealing with the blues. I tend to shut down and go into myself when I feel sad, but it's much better to share with your friends. Hope you both feel better soon. I'll be thinking of you today.

Hi Margaret, So sorry you are feeling down but I think we would not be human if we didn't get that way once in a while. I hope your husband is better, too. I am glad you shared your feelings. That is what friends are for. I hope you have a good weekend.

Hi Margaret,

I hope that you and your husband are both feeling much better. Sometimes I think the weather has a lot to do with the way we feel. Today I am very tired, no reason to be, except that the air is a bit more humid today, but really not bad. Therefore, I am blaming the weather, and the fact that I had some potato chips and dip, and I don't think that helped me feel better either.

My husband had knee replacement surgery on August 16, so we are home bound for the next few weeks. He is doing quite well, as long as he remembers to take his pain pills. : )

I hope you and your husband have a nice week-end.

Hello Margret,
Im sure by the grace of God Charles would be fine soon. Its good that you shared your thoughts, it always makes one feel better. Bitter memories leave a bitter taste in our mind, but the good ones have the power to heal every wound.
Youre a great person and Im sure God has a lot of happiness in store for you.
Take care and keep penning your thoughts..they are beautiful and wise :)

Hello!
I'm sorry to hear your husband has been having medical issues. I know what you mean about sharing helping to ease the mind.
Speaking of sharing, I wanted to stop by and thank you for stopping by our blog to help us 'celebrate' our blogoversary and 200th post last week.
My apologies for not getting around sooner, but hubby and I have been working on a new project, and it's absorbing a lot of our energy.
Normally, if I'm visiting another "pet blog," I write in "pet speak," as you may have seen on the party-day post. (Party becomes 'pawty,' for example.)
I did not see a pet blog for you, so I'm writing human-to-human, and I thank you again for stopping by. That kind of silly nonsense is my version of stress relief.

Dear Margaret,
I'm so sorry your husband has been having health problems - I pray for both of you during these times.

I LOVE what you wrote, speaking from your heart, and it brings me to tears because as you know about me - yes, I feel like that... not just once in a while, as many have expressed, but instead - very, very often.

Honestly for me, I wouldn't have it any other way as it's simply the way I look at life and it keeps me reflective of our brief earthly existence and of the one true God from where our faith comes and from whom our eternity is held.

Blessings to you always,
Linda

Dear Margaret, hope Wayne's health problems will soon be over. And hop you stay healthy yourself.

I know what you mean. Several weeks ago, my Mother was out of town, visiting for a few weeks with my niece that had a double mastectomy. Three of our girls and three Grandchildren were all spending a night at Wolf Lodge close to King's Island. That meant, I had no Mom, or girls to call. I told Abe, I'm afraid when my Mother passes, I am going to have a hard time of it. It just seems she's always been here. I have lost quite a few family members and when I get to thinking bout it, it is depressing.

Have a good evening and a wonderful Sunday.

Sometimes life can really get you down. When a loved one is ill, it can really be draining. I'll be thinking about you, Margaret. This is such a beautiful and poignant post.
